Teatro Bolivar -huge art deco theatre that first opened in 1933 in the heart of the historical quarter of Quito. Tragically in 1999 the theatre was substantially damaged in a fire that started in the adjoining Pizza Hut , but is currently undergoing restoration and does put on a number of events, as well as giving tours of the fire damaged premises. Capacity 2500.
